First Grade Teacher

"Teachers who love teaching, teach children to love learning"

Welcome to first grade! I am so excited to work with you and your child! It’s going to be a year full of fun, learning, and lots of adventure. I can’t wait to see what the year has in store for us! This will be my second year teaching first grade at Maple Hill School. Before that, I taught five years in kindergarten and one year in third grade. Maple Hill is an incredible school!  We have an amazing faculty and staff. I consider them to be my second family! Teaching first grade is my absolute favorite grade!  It is my mission to instill a love for learning in my students. Together we can make this happen!

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns. It is important that we  keep the lines of communication open. There are lots of ways to get in touch with me. The most effective and quick way would be through the Seesaw texting app or email. It is important to keep communication open between us and I would love to talk to you whenever you feel the need!

Seesaw: This is the app/website that I will be trying out this year to communicate with all of you.  You will be able to use your phone or computer to send and receive texts and/or emails from me.  I will be sending reminders and valuable information through this app/website, so please sign up as soon as possible!
