About Mrs. Lamberti

I became an educator for many reasons.  I always knew I not only worked well with children, but more importantly had a certain positive way with young people.  My mother was a high school English teacher and later a middle school librarian.  My father read to my four sisters and I frequently in his big, red leather recliner.  Growing up in a house that delighted in books and deep conversations fostered my desire to be a teacher.
When I had the opportunity to teach in Naugatuck, I was excited.  Naugatuck has high expectations and standards for all learners.  The district values parent involvement and community engagement.  We empower each child to be the best he/she can be.  Maple Hill Elementary School is my "home away from home".  I am honored to work with a caring and innovative staff.  Third grade, especially, is a magical place.  We challenge ourselves academically to become independent learners.  In third grade we are responsible citizens, researchers. innovators, informed thinkers, communicators, and problem solvers.  The Vision of the Graduate is always right here in our third grade classroom!
