Allysa Lombardo
Library Media Specialist
This is my first year at Maple Hill Street School and I couldn't be more excited to join this wonderful community. I come to Naugatuck Public Schools from Plainville where I was the Library Information Teacher at Linden Street School for the last two years. My teaching career began in Waterbury at Washington School where I taught 3rd grade for 12 years. My love of children's literature and reading inspired me to return to school to get my library media specialist certification. I have a BA in political science and a MS in Education with a concentration in special education. This is my 15th year as an elementary school educator!

A few of my favorite things: coffee, BOOKS, the beach, and my family
-
A fun fact about me: I have run 3 half marathons!

Classes I teach: grades K-4; I love the diversity and variety in ages and skills! Never a dull moment!
I am always looking for parent volunteers who may be available to spend some time with me in the library. I could use assistance with book check and shelving. Feel free to email me if you are interested!
